Thousands of "No Kings Day" protests are set to be held throughout the country on Saturday to protest the Trump administration.

Opponents of President Donald Trump’s administration are set to rally in nearly 2,000 cities and towns this weekend.

The No Kings events come after days of protests following raids by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Los Angeles, and Trump’s subsequent deployment of thousands of National Guard and U.S. Marines troops to “temporarily protect” ICE and other federal personnel, along with federal property.

The new round of protests comes as the No Kings demonstrations were held across the United States on Saturday to protest the policies of the Trump administration. Counting the previous day's protests, Sunday marks the 10th day of demonstrations against ICE raids and Trump's policies for his second term in office.

Just like more than 1,000 other communities throughout the United States, Easton took part in the non-violent day of protest called "No Kings" on Saturday.

The Brevard demonstrations were peaceful and had minimal law enforcement presence or interaction between police and activists.

Dozens of No Kings protests are scheduled for June 14 in Texas, including in Austin, Houston and San Antonio. Arlington: 10 a.m. to noon at Arlington Sub Courthouse, 700 E. Abram St.

Thousands of protesters demonstrated peacefully during the No Kings rallies against Donald Trump at the Duval County Courthouse and on the Southside.

Several Centre County groups have already committed to attend a protest in Hollidaysburg, but hundreds of locals are also expected at the State College protest.

The event — in which participants lined the bridge from Wysor Street to Riverside Avenue — was part of a nationwide "No Kings" protest.
