Notre Dame and Ohio State will play at Mercedez Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The title game is on Monday, Jan. 20. It kicks off at 5:30 pm. MT/6:30 p.m. CT. The Notre Dame-Ohio State game will be televised nationally on ESPN.

This championship game also comes with a bit of additional history. Not only is this the first iteration of a 12-team playoff, but no matter what happens, for the first time ever, a Black head coach will lead a team in the National Championship Game.

The No. 5 Texas Longhorns will play the No. 8 Ohio State Buckeyes in the Cotton Bowl semifinal on Thursday evening. The Buckeyes are six-point favorites against the Longhorns as they have looked dominant in its two semifinals against Tennessee and Oregon.
