Body of Melissa Kernstein, 57, found near a creek in northern Terre Haute, Indiana. Investigation underway as cause of death remains undisclosed.

The Vigo County Coroner’s Office has positively identified the deceased female as Melissa Kernstein, 57, of Terre Haute. Family has been notified, according to an Indiana State Police news release.
