Jasprit Bumrah won the ICC men’s test cricketer of the year award after the Indian fast bowler finished 2024 with a rich haul of 71 wickets in 13 test matches.

Bumrah becomes the first Indian to win the Sir Garfield Sobers Cricketer of the Year award since Virat Kohli in 2018.

At the T20 World Cup, his 15 wickets came at an astonishing average of 8.26 and an economy of just 4.17, making him the Player of the Tournament

Jasprit Bumrah wins ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year 2024. He was nominated along with England batters Joe Root, Harry Brook and Australian left-hander Travis Head.

The fast bowler also won the ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year award for 2024. He is the fifth Indian after Dravid, Tendulkar, Ashwin and Kohli to be adjudged the ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year.
