One franchise cornerstone the 49ers are not looking to part ways with is tight end George Kittle. Kittle has been with the 49ers since 2017, the year John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan took over the franchise, and has been one of the key players to the team's success over the past half decade.

Even if the San Francisco 49ers and George Kittle don't come to a contract agreement, it's something that general manager John Lynch isn't worried about. Despite the 49ers having two options to replace Kittle in the 2025 NFL Draft, it's clear that both sides want to have one another back.

George Kittle hasn't been the center of attention during the early part of the team's offseason, but he's expected to take on a more central role as time moves on.
