Israeli strikes on Yemen have killed the Houthis’ military chief of staff, delivering the biggest blow against the Iran-backed group in almost two years of conflict with Israel.

At least 16 people were killed across the strip on Sunday, after Trump called for a halt to bombing to allow for talks.
