Authorities have taken into custody the person they suspect of shooting and killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Wednesday at a Utah university campus event.

Kirk, a right-wing activist, was shot and killed while speaking on stage at a university in Utah on Wednesday.

Authorities in Utah have confirmed the identity of the suspect as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson. The suspect is in custody.
