The Atlanta Falcons have completed another interview for their defensive coordinator vacancy, the team announced on Wednesday evening. New York Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich is the second candidate officially interviewed by Atlanta over the past week.

Jeff Ulbrich has gotten the conversation he said he was expecting to get. The New York Jets have announced that Ulbrich has received an interview regarding the team’s vacant head coach position. The discussion took place on Monday.

Former head coach Robert Saleh was fired by the team all the way back in October. At the time, New York had a 2-3 record. After turning things over to interim Jeff Ulbrich, it didn’t go much better. The Jets finished the 2024 NFL season at 5-12.

The Jets have cast a wide net in their search for a new head coach and the list expanded to include an in-house candidate on Monday.

According to multiple reports, the 45-year-old Jeff Hafley will interview with the New York Jets for head coach after spending the 2024 season with the Packers.
