A hard foul that Warriors big man Kevon Looney committed on Anthony Davis in Saturday's game has been upgraded.

Already battling a slew of injuries in the first part of the season, the Warriors lost Kevon Looney midway through the game due to an illness. Looney has been playing well for Golden State.

Looney exited Wednesday's contest against the Kings due to an illness, and while he's good to go Thursday, he'll return to his regular bench role. The big man is averaging 5.6 points and 7.0 rebounds per contest across his 31 appearances off the bench this season.

The persistent issue for the Warriors has been allowing their shot-making to affect other areas of their game. There was a point in the 2024-25 NBA season when Golden State ranked much higher than 11th in terms of defensive rating.
