By Shrivathsa Sridhar LONDON (Reuters) -Top seed Jannik Sinner said he would not be in the Wimbledon final if he still harboured the hurt from his heart-breaking defeat by Carlos Alcaraz in the French Open final and believed Sunday's meeting would be different.

Jannik Sinner overwhelmed Novak Djokovic in straight sets Friday to advance to Sunday's Wimbledon final where he'll square off with two-time defending champion Carlos Alcaraz.

In a fitting conclusion, Djokovic was a little more than a spectator as he returned one final serve and stood motionless at the side of the court, Sinner sealing victory with no resistance. There will be no such luxury come Sunday.
