WEST FORK -- The city plans to spend $1.28 million to expand administrative and police office space and renovate the library and community building.

Caudle said West Fork has spent more than $2 million replacing sewer lines inside the city and has three more small replacement projects to be done. Those projects should cost about $750,000, he said.

The complex — a combination of the West Fork, Papoose and Windy Pass fires — has burned 95,775 acres on the west side of Wolf Creek Pass and is 2 percent contained.
