Virat Kohli became the second Indian batter to cross 12,000 international runs during the first Test match against Bangladesh at M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday.

Senior India batter Virat Kohli completed 12,000 runs in international cricket at home. Kohli became the second player, only behind Sachin Tendulkar to achieve this feat.

Virat Kohli was back at enthralling the crowd at Chennai, this time he did it with a dance. India were dominating the Test on the second day in Chepauk in Chennai, and that is when Kohli broke into a dance once he realised Shakib-al-Hasan was out.

Virat Kohli led the way with the applause for R Ashwin after his fantastic 113 against Bangladesh in the Chennai Test. The whole of Chepauk also gave Ashwin a standing ovation on Day 2 after he got out.

Kohli once again showed why is a favourite among the fans with his gesture for the crowd at Chepauk on Friday. During the second day's play at the Chepauk, the crowd started chanting ‘Kohli, Kohli’ just to get his attention.
