Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz started criticizing white men on Friday in response to whether Somalis will be held accountable for a massive fraud scandal.
Hope Walz, 24, launched into the tirade as she claimed trolls were targeting her younger brother Gus with the insults in the wake of Trump criticizing Walz for his handling of the Somali food aid
"When it comes to my safety and my family’s safety, there has to be a line," the daughter of the Minnesota governor said in a video.
The magnitude of fraud under Walz's watch is dizzying, with at least 59 convictions involved more than $1 billion in fraudulent claims to social service programs in Minnesota.
"Calling my dad what he did has unleashed a (multi-expletive) storm," Hope Walz said. "I have people DMing me saying absolutely horrendous things."
