Billy Joel and Rod Stewart just announced a one-night only concert at Yankee Stadium on July 18. This show classic rock fantasy will cement Joel, a Bronx native, as the only artist to have headlined at the old Yankee Stadium — the final game of which was played in September 2008 — and the new one.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will co-headline a concert at Yankee Stadium with British rocker and fellow Hall inductee Rod Stewart on July 18.

Billy Joel and Rod Stewart will play a concert together on July 18 at Yankee Stadium, the duo announced Thursday. Joel, 75, famously played the old Yankee Stadium on June 22-23, 1990.
