Nearly 1.1 million residents in Georgia are without power after Hurricane Helene rapidly moved through Georgia. Here's how to check your area.

Stunning stat: Atlanta recorded the highest rainfall on record spanning 48 hours, according to the Georgia Climate Office's post on X. The city received 11.12 inches of rain over the last two days, shattering the previous record of 9.59 inches back in 1886.

While it has weakened to Tropical Storm Helene, hundreds of thousands of Georgians have been left with no electricity. Follow power outages here.

As Hurricane Helene continues to cause widespread disruptions across Georgia, just under 1 million residents are still without power.

More than 30,100 in DeKalb County and more than 18,200 in Fulton County are without power. In far northeast Georgia, in Rabun County, more than 7,000 are part of an outage. The Augusta and Savannah areas are also experiencing major power outages.
