Five terrorists tasked with key roles in Jash-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba were killed in the initial phase of Operation Sindoor when Indian forces struck terror camps deep inside Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir,

India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7 in direct retaliation to the Pahalgam terrorist attack, which killed 26 civilians. In a coordinated effort, the Indian Air Force and Army carried out precision airstrikes on nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

The terrorist launchpads located near the Line of Control (LoC) were a hub for planning and executing terror attacks against Indian civilians and security forces.
