Chris Manon’s 3-pointer with 3:50 left put Vanderbilt ahead to stay as the Commodores beat No. 24 Ole Miss 77-72 Saturday to snap a three-game skid.

Vanderbilt basketball nearly blew a 19-point lead, but held on to win, 77-72, on Saturday at Memorial Gymnasium. The Commodores got off to an excellent start in the first half, building up a lead as many as 19 points.

As a team, Ole Miss shot 41.7% from the floor, 32.1% from three-point range, and 86.7% from the free-throw line. Malik Dia led the Rebels in scoring with 22 points, followed by Sean Pedulla with 21 and Jaylen Murray with 10.
