NORFOLK, Va. — A woman was injured after being shot by a police officer in Norfolk, according to the Norfolk Police Department. The shooting happened in the 7600 block of Sewells Point Road, not far from Avenue J, at 1:55 p.m., police said. The woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
