The 2021 U.S. Open champion appeared to be in tears as she went to the umpire’s chair after the second game Tuesday and her second-round match was briefly paused on Court 2.

British tennis star Emma Raducanu was visibly upset as tournament officials in Dubai ejected a spectator showing "fixated behavior" toward her during Tuesday's second-round match against Karolina Muchova.

Emma Raducanu was approached in a public space "by a man who exhibited fixated behavior" and the same man was spotted in the first few rows during her match, the WTA said.
