Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi took holy dips in sacred river waters in the northern city of Prayagraj on Wednesday as he joined millions of people at the Maha Kumbh Mela, a week after dozens died in a stampede at the event.

Prayagraj: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini, along with his Cabinet, is set to reach Maha Kumbh on Thursday to take the holy dip at Triveni Sangam. He left for Prayagraj in the morning and will continue his journey to Ayodhya the next day to offer prayers at the Ram Temple.
