A government spokesman in Pakistan says that German biathlon champion Laura Dahlmeier has died on a mountain in northern Pakistan.

Laura Dahlmeier, who was previously in a relationship with Austrian climber Robert Grasegger, who died in a mountaineering accident in 2022, is now reported to have died after a climbing incident.
