RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — A boil-water advisory in Virginia's capital will remain in place at least until Saturday morning, officials said, leaving residents without drinkable tap water for a fourth day following an outage at the city's treatment facility.

Richmond Mayor Danny Avula shared Thursday that all nine zones served by Richmond’s water system are fully pressurized, and that the boil water advisory could be lifted by Friday or Saturday, pending water quality tests.

Now that pressure has been restored, Hanover and Henrico counties and the City of Richmond all say they expect to remove a boil water notice sometime Saturday.
