South Korea's arrested President Yoon Suk Yeol failed to attend a second day of questioning by investigators, further stonewalling a criminal probe into whether he committed insurrection with his martial law bid.

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol has been arrested for questioning, according to the country’s anti corruption agency, in the latest chapter of a weekslong political saga that began with the embattled president’s shock martial law decree last month.

The Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials will likely seek a new court warrant to extend the window for Yoon’s detention, according to police.
