Rwanda has agreed to accept up to 250 deportees from the United States under the Trump administration's third-country deportation program.

Rwanda said on Tuesday it would accept up to 250 migrants from the United States under a deal agreed with Washington but gave no details on who could be included.

The United States and Rwanda have agreed for the African country to accept up to 250 migrants deported from the U.S., the spokesperson for the Rwandan government and an official told Reuters, as President Donald Trump's administration takes a hardline approach toward immigration.
