Netflix's deal with Sega includes a new Sonic animated series as well as movies based on Crazy Taxi and Stranger than Heaven.

After the great success that Netflix has had with video game adaptations like Castlevania and Devil May Cry, the streamer is going to try its hand at adapting another one as a live-action film.

The film adaptation will be written by Dan Gregor and Doug Mand, who previously wrote the screenplay for The Naked Gun ’s 2025 reboot.
