Boston Dynamics' Atlas is finally entering production. After years of testing this humanoid robot (and forcing it to dance ), the robotics company announced at CES 2026 that the final version of the machine is being built now.

At this stage, the robot behaves more like an unmotivated teenager halfway through a chore than a full-fledged home assistant. Still, the innovation is a breakthrough in the home appliance space, and it could motivate other players to build their own AI agents .

Mobileye made its name, and money, by supplying automakers with millions of computer vision chips designed to support automotive safety features and advanced driver assistance systems. The Intel subsidiary and publicly traded company later expanded to tackle autonomous driving through its chips and software.
