Teela is a warrior who is responsible for protecting Eternia’s royal family and may or may not become Prince Adam’s romantic interest.

Teela has been a permanent fixture of the MOTU franchise ever since those first mini-comics, and is usually depicted as Prince Adam's protector and He-Man's right-hand woman/love-interest.

Teela is also the Captain of Eternia's Royal Guard, and the love interest of Prince Adam/He-Man, who will be played by Nicholas Galitzine. Mendes' casting was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
