Now that a cold front has pushed through, South Florida’s attention turns to a red flag warning in play on Monday. The red flag warning is in effect from noon until 8 p.m. in Broward, Miami-Dade, Monroe and Palm Beach counties.

As 4,000 acres burn in south Miami-Dade County from a blaze that’s been raging since last week, the National Weather Service is placing several South Florida counties under another red flag warning — meaning residents should prepare for more fires.
