Waiting for outfield practice to begin on Field 3, Yankees captain Aaron Judge stood in foul territory paying attention to the starting infield for Saturday’s spring training game going through its final rounds of groundball drills.

However, Judge and the Yankees must be extremely careful. Designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton (elbows) will begin the season on the injured list, and utility infielder DJ LeMahieu (left calf) could join him after leaving Saturday’s game early.

The 32-year-old is surely itching to officially put that devastating moment behind him. The best way to do that is by doing what he does best: tearing the cover off the baseball. Well, fans will have to wait a bit longer before seeing Judge compete in a game.
