Two men escaped from a Denver area immigration detention center apparently after its back doors opened during a power outage, police said.

ICE took more than four hours to call Aurora Police about the escape from the facility, run by a company called GEO.

Aurora Police Chief Todd Chamberlain recently talked about the response time of officers after it was discovered that two men had escaped the Immigration and Customs Enforcement​ GEO facility earlier this week.
