Bernie Marcus, co-founder of Home Depot and philanthropist, has passed away, impacting Atlanta's community beyond business.

He was 95 years old. “The entire Home Depot family is deeply saddened,” the company said in a prepared statement. “We owe an immeasurable debt of gratitude to Bernie.
