Oakland Fire Department sends crews to help with Los Angeles wildfires

Among the agencies sending crews to Los Angeles is the Oakland Fire Department. Twelve firefighters have been sent so far, and on Thursday, they’re sending a water tender. Oakland Fire Chief Damon Covington shared this information with new members of the city council and also warned them about closing fire stations.
