As wildfires continue to rage through parts of Los Angeles, covering the entire region in smoke and ash, the NBA has postponed the San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena and between the Charlotte Hornets and LA Clippers at Intuit Dome games, both scheduled for Saturday.

Decision comes less than 24 hours after Hornets’ scheduled game vs. LeBron James and Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night was postponed.

The Los Angeles Lakers and LA Clippers are postponing their home games on Saturday as a result of the ongoing fires in the greater Los Angeles area, per reports.

There have already been significant consequences for both organizations due to the wildfires. The Lakers had a game scheduled for Thursday postponed as well, and head coach JJ Redick was one of many people to lose a home in the Pacific Palisades fire. Redick mentioned Friday that multiple other members of the organization had lost homes, too.

The league made the announcement Friday night, adding that the dates for the rescheduled games will be announced at a later time. The Lakers also had their Thursday game against Charlotte
