The Summer Game Fest 2026 took the gaming world by storm when the biggest game reveals and announcements to attack our wallets.

Summer Game Fest kicked off, as has become tradition, with a two hour long show highlighting upcoming games and games-adjacent content. A mix of previously revealed announced titles and new reveals, it certainly had us grinning, even if Dead Rising 5 was nowhere to be seen.

Summer Game Fest 2026 aired on June 5, bringing with it a packed showcase of world premieres, surprise sequels, and updates on gaming’s biggest releases.

The yearly show from LA kicked off with the next game in the Resident Evil series, which is due in 2027. Other big games shown off include Monster Hunter Wilds ‘ expansion, Ascension, Fumito Ueda’s Gen Atlas, plus new looks at Stranger than Heaven and Star Wars: Zero Company.
