Not to be outdone by Sony's State of Play, Xbox rounded out the Summer Game Fest weekend with a showcase of its own. The Xbox Games Showcase was crammed with world premieres and previously announced video games reemerging with fresh footage.

Today’s Xbox Summer Game Fest showcase was a solid hour of big and small announcements, including a new Call of Duty trailer and the reveal of Xbox’s handheld PC device. But it also brought us our first $80 Xbox game.

Of all the things we expected to see at Summer Game Fest 2025, a new Game of Thrones video game was definitely not one of them. Game of Thrones: War of Westeros is a newly announced real-time strategy (RTS) title based on the acclaimed HBO series, and it’s officially coming to PC in 2026.
