(Reuters) - Chrysler-parent Stellantis is extending its employee-discount program to the wider market on some new models, the company confirmed Friday. The automaker is giving shoppers the option of taking the employee incentive pricing, which slashes thousands of dollars off the vehicle, or accept current retail incentives.

Automaker Stellantis has confirmed it's shutting down its assembly plant in Windsor, Ont., for two weeks, largely because of U.S. tariffs on imported vehicles and an aftermath of that would be potential layoffs at feeder plants.
