When Deputy Nicole Miron saw that the 63-year-old driver was barely responsive, she climbed from one moving vehicle into the other to stop the car.

The deputy jumped from the passenger's seat in of a patrol car into the man's truck as they were driving side-by-side.

Deputy Nicole Miron, who was sitting in the passenger side of a patrol SUV, exited the vehicle through her window and climbed into the pickup through one of its windows on the driver's side as they both continued traveling down the avenue, officials said.
