The Seattle Mariners announced today that Game 1 of the doubleheader previously scheduled for Saturday, June 20 vs. the Boston Red Sox will now be played on Friday, June 19 at 7:10 pm at T-Mobile Park.

First, Zach Vincej, who won championships as a manager with the Mariners affiliates in Modesto (2023 and 2024) and Everett (2025), is not serving as a minor league manager this season. Instead, he's going to be the team's defense and baserunning coordinator.

Now loaded for bear, the Mariners look to shake off their ALCS loss last season and focus on winning a World Series in 2026
