Gere, 75, is facing furious criticism from Lulu Simon over his decision to sell her childhood home to a developer who is tearing it down.

The daughter of legendary singer-songwriter Paul Simon hopes that the pets she buried in the backyard of her childhood home in Connecticut will “haunt” Richard Gere, after the “Pretty Woman” actor purchased the English country-style home in 2022, then sold it to a developer who plans to tear it down to make way for a new luxury subdivision.
