A new poll shows there's support in Texas to legalize casinos and loosen marijuana restrictions. More than 1,000 Texans were surveyed by the University of Houston recently and found nearly 80% of people supported expanding medical marijuana.

The study, which surveyed 1,200 Texas adults, found that more than 70% of Texans support the legalization of “destination resort casinos" in the state and more than 60% support the sale and use of marijuana for recreational purposes.
