New Denver Nuggets forward Cam Johnson is with his third NBA team after starting his career with Phoenix Suns.

It has been three games and the Phoenix Suns are missing one of the two players they absolutely cannot afford to have sidelined. With that said, they have not offered a flattering first impression with their third straight dud in the first half, the latest coming in Saturday’s 133-111 loss to the Denver Nuggets.

Phoenix acquired Green, Brooks and the 10 th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, 7-footer Khaman Maluach, from Houston in the Kevin Durant trade. Grayson Allen has been starting for Green while Royce O'Neale got the start Monday for Brooks.

The Nuggets were lucky enough not to rule any players out for their season opener against the Warriors, and even though it resulted in a loss, that is a great way to start the season. For Saturday's game against the Suns, that favorable trend is continuing. For the second consecutive game, the Nuggets have no injuries to report.
