About 1,000 rotest in Oak Ridge Saturday on "No Kings" Day of ActionChase Lindsey, Anderson County Democratic Party chairman, said Sunday that the crowd was estimated at 840 to 1,000 people.
The "No Kings" protests were scheduled in Connecticut as early as 9:30 a.m. in Canton and Glastonbury and could last elsewhere until 6 p.m.
No Kings protests are happening in Tennessee in response to President Donald Trump's military and birthday parade and speech.
The LAPD said on social media that the people in the crowd were throwing "rocks, bricks, bottles and other objects" while they were near the federal building.
