At least six people are injured after a taxi cab slammed into a group of individuals at a busy intersection in New York City on Christmas Day.

The incident in New York City comes just days after an attack at a Christmas market. On Dec. 20, a Saudi doctor drove his S.U.V into a crowd of people at a market in Magdeburg, Germany, leaving five people killed and over 200 injured.

The outgoing and incoming U.S. presidents had different messages for the Christmas holiday on Wednesday, with Democrat Joe Biden urging Americans to reflect and unite, while Republican Donald Trump offered a holiday greeting and then took aim at his political opponents.
