Delhi Police has announced robust security arrangements for New Year's eve, deploying nearly 20,000 police and paramilitary personnel to maintain law and order.

The Delhi Traffic Police will have the manpower of around 2,500 personnel to ensure the smooth movement of vehicles.

Delhi Police advises citizens to cooperate with the measures and use public transport, especially the metro, to ensure hassle-free travel and safe celebrations

The Delhi Traffic Police has set up special traffic measures in Connaught Place and India Gate for New Year’s Eve, with vehicle access being restricted from 8 PM on December 31, 2024. A total of 20,000 personnel will be deployed for security purposes.
