U.S. men's national team goalkeeper Matt Turner is returning to the New England Revolution on loan from French Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyonnais. Turner, the 2021 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year, recorded 22 clean sheets in 102 MLS starts for the Revolution from 2018-22.

The plan is currently to send Turner back to the Revolution, the club where he first became a star in MLS in 2016 and where he won Goalkeeper of the Year in 2021 and earned a transfer to Arsenal, on a loan before he can take on preseason with the club.
