The SEC announced that they have permanently suspended Ken Williamson from officiating conference games due to complaints.

The SEC has suspended longtime referee Ken Williamson for the remainder of the season in the wake of his crew's performance in Georgia's 20-10 victory at Auburn on Oct. 11, sources confirmed to ESPN on Thursday.

According to ESPN, the suspension means Williamson will not officiate again this season, ending a long career with the SEC.

The SEC referee, suspended for the remainder of the college football season this week, told officials before the opener that he was going to retire at season’s end, according to ESPN. “The SEC does not comment on personnel matters,” a league spokesperson told the outlet.
