A fireworks warehouse in California burst into flames and then exploded, sending fire and pyrotechnics into the air just days ahead of the Fourth of July.

Days before the Fourth of July, an explosion at a warehouse storing fireworks in Northern California set off a dramatic pyrotechnics display along with flames and smoke, officials said.

Recent immigration raids throughout Southern California are prompting some cities to cancel July 4th celebrations. Cancelled events include the Gloria Molina Grand Park’s Summer Block Party in downtown Los Angeles, Whittier’s Freedom Walk, the City of Cudahy’s July 4th celebration, and all scheduled events through July 10 in Bell Gardens.

Other events in predominantly Hispanic communities, such as Bell Gardens, Cudahy, and Boyle Heights, have also been scrapped or delayed.
