Nashville's NWS issues a Heat Advisory warning of extreme temperatures and high humidity until Wednesday evening.

The heat advisory issued by the National Weather Service is in effect until 9 p.m. for most of North Texas. Just like Thursday, the culprit isn't the actual temperature but the heat index. Some areas will again reach or surpass a "feels-like" temperature of 105 degrees.

Dallas-Fort Worth narrowly avoided its first 100-degree day of the year on Friday, and temperatures are expected to drop slightly this weekend. While the actual temperature will go down, it likely won’t feel like that due to a soaring heat index.
