In a contest between political newcomers and out-of-office veteran politicians, San Bernardino residents appear to be going with the newcomers for two City Council seats, according to unofficial election results.

The Laguna Woods City Council is guaranteed some change once all the ballots are counted for the November election. After the release of early returns following the close of the polls Tuesday night, incumbents Shari Horne and Cynthia Conners and Eun Ju “Pearl” Lee had taken early leads for the three open seats.
