A fast-moving, wind-whipped brush fire erupted in Southern California on Tuesday morning near a wealthy Los Angeles neighborhood, prompting evacuations. The Palisades Fire, which started around 11:04 a.m. southeast of Palisades Drive in Pacific Palisades, has grown to 772 acres as of 2:11 p.m., according to Cal Fire.
